National Water Informatics Centre invites applications for the following posts via Deputation:

Post Name: Joint Director

Essential Qualification: Officers of the Central Government, State Governments or Union Territories, autonomous or statutory organizations or Public Sector Undertakings/Universities or recognized research Institutions:

(i) Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or with five years regular service in Level-11 in the pay matrix (67700-208700) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and

Essential Work Experience: Possessing Seven years experience in the field of investigation or planning or design or execution, operation and maintenance of water resources subjects or ground water or in the field of Geo-informatics systems or Data Management or Administration.

Post Name: Deputy Director

Essential Qualification: Officers of the Central Government, State Governments or Union Territories, autonomous or statutory organizations or Public Sector Undertakings/Universities or recognized research institutions:

(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or with five years regular service in Level-10 in the pay matrix (56100-177500) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and

Essential Work Experience: Possessing Five years experience in the field of investigation or planning or design or execution, operation and maintenance of water resources subjects or ground water or in the field of Geo-informatics systems or Data Management or Administration.

Essential Qualification: Officers of the Central Government, State Governments or Union Territories, autonomous or statutory organizations or Public Sector Undertakings/Universities or recognized research institutions:

(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or with two years regular service in Level-9 (53100-167800)or Level-8 (47600-142400) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and

Essential Work Experience: Possessing three years experience in the field of investigation or planning or design or execution, operation and maintenance of water resources subjects or ground water or in the field of Geo-informatics systems or Data Management or Administration.

Common Qualification:

• Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in the field of Computer Science or Information Technology or Electronics or Civil or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university or institute; or

• Masters Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Hydrology or Geo-informatics or Computer Applications from a recognized university or institute with Bachelors Degree in Science from a recognized university or institute.
