Indian Institute of Management Amritsar invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:
Post Name: Consultant (Finance & Accounts and Administration)
Essential Qualification: ICWA/CA/CS/MBA with a total of 25 plus years of experience in the relevant field.
Essential Work Experience:
At least 15 years of post-qualification experience in Finance, Accounts, and General administration of a Government department/ Autonomous Body/ PSU/ Higher Education Institution of national/international reputation in a responsible position.
(i) Currently active in senior or similar financial.
(ii) General Management position at a reputed organization.
(iii) Experience setting up standard accounting systems, procedures and internal controls, auditing and reporting, taxation, general administration, etc.
(iv) The Candidate should have excellent organizing skills, high-performance orientation, and the ability to make continuous systemic improvements would be preferred attributes.
(v) The applicant should have sound knowledge of general administration functions like recruitment, pay fixation, retirement benefits, service book and reservations, labour laws, GeM portal, GFR 2017, and other relevant Central Government rules and procedures, as applicable to the Central Autonomous bodies.
Desirable:
(i) Experience in finance, accounts, and general management.
(ii) Expertise in financial management, internal controls/ system development & implementation, auditing and reporting, taxation, general management, and ability to resolve problems or situations that require the exercising of sound judgement.
