Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following post :

Post Name : Project Associate

Essential Qualification :

(1) Masters degree in Anthropology/ Sociology/Performing Arts/ Political Studies/ Cultural Studies/Tribal Studies/ Folklore/Art History or other related or allied Social Sciences subjects with a minimum of 65% from a recognized University.

(2) Handling of research and documentation projects for Govt./PSU/Autonomous organisation.

(3) Knowledge of computer applications. Well-versed in MS Office.

Essential Work Experience : Minimum 4 years of recent work experiencein Cultural Institutions under Govt./PSU/Autonomous organisation.

Desirable :

(1) Awareness and/or knowledge of the local art forms. Good written and oral communication skills in English, Hindi and a major local language of the North East. Knowledge of proposal and report writing. Willingness to travel widely in order to conduct research, field work, programmes etc. across all North Eastern States.

(2) Experience of field work, expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods, report writing/academic writing skills.
