Essential Qualification:

Medical Departments: An NMC/MCI-recognized postgraduate medical degree of MD/MS/DNB in the respective discipline from a recognized University/Institute.

Paediatrics / Neonatology Department: Candidate who completed MD/DNB in the discipline of Paediatrics, he/she can apply any one of the departments i.e either Paediatrics / Neonatology.

Dental Department: A DCI recognized postgraduate Dental Degree from University/Institute are required, viz. MDS (Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery) for both Puducherry and Karaikal.

Recruitment Details

Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research invites application for various posts. Total 113 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number Admin-I/SR/1/1-2022. The minimum age limit is 18 and maximum age limit is 45 as on date. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories, Other Backward Classes and Person With Benchmark Disability will be as per the government rules. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Unreserved, Other Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes, Economically Weaker Sections, Scheduled Tribes and PWBD Quota . The examination will be conducted through Online mode at Regional level. The selection process will include an Interview process. After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at Pondicherry, Puducherry, India, 605110 and Karaikal, Puducherry, India, 609602.
