Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Chairman-cum-Managing Director

Essential Qualification: The applicant must, on the date of application, as well as on the date of interview, be employed in a regular capacity - and not in a contractual/ad-hoc capacity - in one of the followings:-

1. Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) (including a full-time functional Director in the Board of a CPSE);

2. Central Government including the Armed Forces of the Union and All India Services;

3. MDs/CMDs/Ex-MD/Ex-CMD/Ex-Directors of State Public Sector Enterprise (SPSE);

4. MDs/Ex-MD/Ex-CMD/Ex-Directors of State Seeds Corporations at the Board/ Management level;

5. Director (Agriculture) of State Governments;

6. MDs/Director/Ex-MD/CMD/Directors of Seed Certification Agencies;

7. MD/Directors of Private Sector Company preferably in Agricultural Sector, where the annual turnover is 500 Crore or more.

8. Graduate from a recognized University/Institution. Applicant with Technical/MBA Qualifications will have added advantage.

Essential Work Experience:

1. For MDs/Ex-MD/Ex-CMD/Ex-Directors of State Seeds Corporations - minimum one year of experience/ service;

2. For Director (Agriculture) of State Governments - minimum one year of experience/service.

3. For MDs/Director/ Ex-MD/CMD/Directors of Seed Certification Agencies -minimum 03 years of service;
