Institute of Physics Bhubneswar invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment :
Post Name : Postdoctoral Fellow
Essential Qualification : Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in Condensed Matter Physics. Those who have submitted their thesis are also eligible to apply. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to present a seminar and arrange letters of recommendation before final selection is made.
Essential Work Experience : Candidates should have experience in thin film fabrication by physical vapor deposition (Pulsed Laser Deposition/sputter deposition), thin film XRD, photovoltaics, and electrical transport measurements. Besides, they should have a sound understanding of the fundamentals of the electronic structure of solids, ion-matter interaction, defect engineering, optical properties of materials, and electronic transport in materials.
