Recruitment Details

ICMR National Institute of Virology invites application for various posts. Total 80 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number 01/NIV/TECH/2023. The minimum age limit is 18 and the maximum age limit ranges to 32, depending on the specific post. Please look at the Official Notification for the age limits mentioned for each post. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories, Other Backward Classes, Person With Benchmark Disability and Ex-Serviceman will be as per the government rules. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Unreserved, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Sections, PWBD Quota and Ex-servicemen . The examination will be conducted through Online mode at Regional level. The selection process will include an Interview process. After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at Pune, Maharashtra, India, 411011.

With regard to above referred advertisement for two technical positions (Technical Assistant and Technician - I) the applications were invited online through MKCL portal. Due to technical issues with OTP services provider, OTPs could not be generated on 10.12.2023 between 7:41pm to 11.59 pm. Candidates who could not complete the online application process due to OTP issues, to enable such candidates to complete the same, it has been decided to extend the date and time for these candidates upto 11.12.2023 till 05.00 pm only
