NORTH 24 PARGANAS DISTRICT invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Librarian

Essential Qualification:

i) Must have passed Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent and possessing a pass Certificate in Library and Information science from any of the following Institute:.

a) Training Centre attached to the Bengal Library Association

b) Training Centre attached to the District Library, Ramkrishna Mission Boys Home,Rahara

c) Training Centre attached to the Janata College at Kalimpong and Banipur

d) Any Other training Centre recognized by the Govt. of West Bengal for the purpose

ii) Candidate with Bachelors Degree in Library and Information Science or equivalent are also eligible to apply.

iii) Basic Knowledge in computer application.

iv) Knowledge in Bengali or Nepali (for hill areas of Derjeeling and Kalimpong district only)
