Post Name: Research Scientist

Essential Qualification:

  1. First Class M.E./M.Tech in Civil Engineering (in water resources related specialization)

  2. First Class M.E./M.Tech in Agricultural Engineering (in water resources related specialization)

  3. First Class M.E./M.Tech in Water Resources Engineering or equivalent OR

  4. First Class M.E./M.Tech in Remote Sensing & GIS or equivalent (in water resources related specialization)

  5. First Class B.E./B.Tech Degree in Civil/ Agricultural Engineering.

  6. One year experience in the relevant field.

Desirable Qualification: Experience in Hydrological and Hydraulic Modeling using Remote Sensing & GIS inputs.

 

Post Name: Junior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification:

  1. First Class M.Sc. in Geological Science from a recognized University or equivalent with valid NET/GATE/N-JET in the relevant discipline.

  2. First Class M.E./M.Tech in Civil Engineering/ Agriculture Engineering/ Water Resources Engineering/ Earth Science Engineering/ Environmental Engineering/ Remote Sensing and GIS/ or equivalent with water resources related specialization/ dissertation with valid NET/GATE/N-JET in the relevant discipline.

  3. First Class M.Sc. in Remote Sensing & GIS/ Geology/ Environmental Science/ or equivalent with water resources related specialization/ dissertation with valid NET/GATE/N-JET in the relevant discipline.

  4. First Class M.E./M.Tech in any specialisation of Electronics/ Computer Science Engineering with valid NET/GATE/N-JET or equivalent in the relevant discipline.

  5. First Class M.Sc. (Physics with Electronics) with valid NET/GATE/N-JET or equivalent in the relevant discipline.

Desirable Qualification: Experience in Hydrological Modelling and Mapping using Remote Sensing & GIS inputs etc.

Recruitment Details

North Eastern Space Application Centre invites application for various posts. Total 19 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number NESAC/RMT-TEMP/02/2022. The minimum age limit is 18 and maximum age limit is 35 as on date. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories, Other Backward Classes, Ex-Servicemen and Person With Benchmark Disability will be as per the government rules. The selection process will include an Interview process. After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at Umiam, Meghalaya, India, 793122.
