Essential Qualification: 

Officers of the Central Government or the State Government or Union Territories Administration:

(a) (i) holding analogous post in Level-13 on regular basis.

Or

(ii) with five years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Level-12 of the pay matrix 78800-209200 or equivalent.

(b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:

(i) Bachelors degree from a recognized university or Institute.

(ii) 10 years experience in enforcement or regulatory laws and collection of intelligence relating thereto.

Desirable: four years experience in the investigation of criminal offences including economic offences.
