Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare invites applications for the following posts via Deputation/ Absorption:

Post Name: Law Officer (Fertiliser)

Essential Qualification: Officers under Central Government or state government or union territories administrations or public sector undertakings or universities or recognized research institutions or semi-government or autonomous or statutory organization :-

(A) (i) Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or

(ii) with two years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the pay band-2: 9300-34800 plus Grade Pay of 4800 or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department, or

(iii) with three years experience in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in the pay band-2, 9300-38400 plus Grade Pay of 4600 or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department; and

(B) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:

(i) Degree in Law from a recognized university or institute;

(ii) Three years experience in drafting of acts and statutory rules.

Desirable: Bechelor of Science with Chemistry as a subject or Bechelor of Science (Agriculture) from a recognized university or institute.
