Essential Qualification:
Possesses a degree or equivalent in Marine Engineering and Ministry of Transport First Class Certificate of Competency issued by Director General of Shipping, Government of India or equivalent certificate recognized by Governement of India or
A basic degree in Naval Architecture with 10 years experience in sea going
regular vessels/Classification Societies/Ship Building yards/reputed International Shipping Corporations or State Port Department or
Diploma in Ship building with 20 years experience in sea going regular vessels/Classification Societies Ship Building yard/ reputed International Shipping Corporations or State Port Department
Has served in the capacity of surveyor for a minimum period of 5 years in the DGS/State IWT Department/State Maritime Board
Post Name: Surveyor
Essential Qualification:
Marine/Mechanical/Electrical Engineer in second class Motor/Steam MOT Certificate issued by Director General of Shipping, Government of India or equivalent certificate recognized by Government of India and having 7 years of sailing experience or
A basic degree in Naval Architecture with 7 years experience either/or in sca going regular vessels/Classification Societies/Ship Building yards/reputed International Shipping Corporations or State Port Department or
Diploma in ship building with 15 years experience either/or in sea going regular vessels/Classification Societies/Ship Building yards/reputed International Shipping Corporations or State Department or
Master Mariner with 2 years of sailing experience in in maritime training/marine survey after having obtained Masters Certificate issued by Director General of Shipping Government of India or equivalent International Certificate
Place of Interview: Conference Hall, Port Management Board, Andaman and Nicobar Administration, Port Blair
