All India Institute of Medical Sciences Bhubaneshwar invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following posts:

Post Name: Post-Doctoral Fellow

Essential Qualification: PhD in Bioinformatics with minimum 1 year experience in analysing shotgun/16s rRNA Microbiome sequencing data as well as other types of Omics data. Experience working in large multi-centric studies and managing overall project includes but is not limited to

1. familiarity with functional genomic and/or metagenomic data

2. Proficiency in one or more scripting languages appropriate for scalable data analysis

3. ability to communicate scientific material

4. interact with wet lab scientists including microbiologists, immunologists and biochemists as well as with clinicians.

5. Proven record of scientific advances leading to high impact factor publications

Desirable: PhD in Bioinformatics experience with good knowledge of cloud computing, server management and human genetics-microbiome research

Post Name: Medical Officer

Essential Qualification: MBBS with good clinical knowledge.

Desirable: Interact with study participants on regular basis and provide intervention to study participants and collect clinical data and observe adverse effects if any.
