Odisha Power Generation Corporation Limited invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Director (Operations)

Essential Qualification: The candidate must be a Bachelors Degree holder in Mechanical/ Electrical / Electrical and Electronics Engineering with good academic records (Minimum 60% or CGPA of 6.5 at HSC, Higher Secondary and Graduation Levels).

Essential Work Experience: 

• Experience in developing and implementing strategic business plans. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Able to excel in high-pressure situations.

• A proven track record of at least 25 (twenty five) years of post-qualification experience in relevant functional areas (O and M of thermal Power plants).

• He/she should have at least 01 (one) year experience in a senior level position (General Manager/Senior General Manager and above), OR

• The Candidate shall be drawing a pay in the scale of 1,23,100-2,15,900/- i.e in level of 15 of the Pay matrix under the ORSP rules 2017 or higher scale of pay on the date of advertisement.

• He or she should have at least 03 years of experience in a senior management level position (General Manager/Senior General Manager and above) in an organisation of repute. OR

• Candidate shall be drawing a pay in the scale of 1,23,100-2,15,900 in level 15 of over ORSP Rules 2017 or equivalent revised scale of pay or higher pay of Central Government/ CPSE/ other organisation on the date of advertisement.

• Candidate must have worked at senior management level equivalent to General Manager/Senior General Manager and above in public sector for at least 3 years.

• The annual turnover of the company should at least 1500 crore over last 3 years (FY 2020-21, FY 2021-22, FY 2022-23)
