West Bengal Police Recruitment Board invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Essential Qualification:

(i) The applicant must have a bachelors degree in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent.

(ii) The applicant must be able to speak, read and write Bengali Language. However, this provision will not be applicable to the persons who are permanent residents of hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts.

(iii) For the applicant of hill subdivisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong District, the provisions laid down in the West Bengal Official language Act, 1961 will be applicable.

Recruitment Details

West Bengal Police Recruitment Board invites application for various posts. Total 1131 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number WBPRB/NOTICE - 2024/14 (SI_WBP_24). The minimum age limit is 21 and the maximum age limit ranges to 30, depending on the specific post. Please look at the Official Notification for the age limits mentioned for each post. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories, Other Backward Classes and Government Servant/Departmental Candidate will be as per the government rules. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Unreserved, Economically Weaker Sections, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and Women . The examination will be conducted through Offline mode at Regional level. There will be a Physical Test. After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at West Bengal, India, 713427.
