Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority invites applications for the following posts via Deputation:

Post Name: General Manager

Essential Qualification: 

Officers of the Central Government or State Government/ Union Territory Administration or Public Sector Undertakings or Universities or Recognised Research Institutions or Semi Government or Autonomous Bodies or Statutory Organizations:-

(a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

(ii) With five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in Pay Level-11 or equivalent in the parent cadre or department;

and

(b) Possessing the following Educational Qualifications and experience:-

(i) Master Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Veterinary Plantation/Food Processing/ Food Technology/Food Science and Technology/Food Safety and Quality Assurance (Food Saftey and Quality Management)/Organic Agriculture (Organic Foreign Trade/ Management Degree in Agriculture Business Management from recognized University/ Institution

Farming) Agriculture Economics (Agronomy)/

(ii) Three years experience in the above fields post acquiring the above educational qualification

Desirable: Knowledge of export procedures/requirements/conditions/ WTOmatters; Agri Exports including Agri Export from India/APEDA Scheduled Products/Traceability systems; SPS/TBT; Quality; NPOP; IPR; Food Safety Authority; Foreign Trade, Knowledge of Information Technology, Research in Agri.Trade/Horti. Trade/ Organic Trade etc. Publication of papers in international journals in the above fields

 

Post Name: Deputy General Manger

Essential Qualification: 

Officers of the Central Government or State Government/ Union Territory Administration or Public Sector Undertakings or Universities or Recognised Autonomous Bodies or Statutory Organizations:-

Research Institutions or Semi Government or

(a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

(ii) With five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in Pay Level-10 or equivalent in the parent cadre or department;

and

(b) Possessing the following Educational Qualifications and experience:-

(i) Master Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Veterinary Plantation/Food Processing/ Food Technology Food Science and Technology/ Food Safety and Quality Assurance (Food Saftey and Quality Management)/ Organic Agriculture (Organic Farming)/ Agriculture Economics (Agronomy)/ Foreign Trade/ Management Degree in Agriculture Business Management from recognized University/ Institution (ii) Three years experience in the above fields post acquiring the above educational qualification

Desirable: Knowledge of export procedures / requirements / conditions / WTO matters; Agri Exports including Agri Export from India/APEDA Scheduled Products / Traceability systems; SPS / TBT; Quality; NPOP; IPR; Food Safety Authority; Foreign Trade, Knowledge of Information Technology, Research in Agri.
