Essential Qualification:
M.Sc Environmental Sciences / Environment Science and Management
M.Sc Marine Biology / Zoology
M.Sc. Biotechnology/ M.Sc. Marine Biotechnology/M. Tech Bioinformatics
Desirable:
Candidate having good knowledge in the water and sediment quality analysis, chromatography techniques and basic computer applications.Participation in field trips, cruises, sample collection, analysis and data handling.
Candidate having knowledge in marine zooplankton and fish taxonomy will be preferred. Participation in fieldwork onboard boats, plankton sampling, analyses and data preparation.
Working experience in any R and D Institutes/organisations.The selected candidates will be required to carry out work on microbiological and metagenomic sample collection in estuarine/coastal area, analysis, processing of data and preparation of reports related to projects.
