Post Name: Project Associate-I

Essential Qualification:

  • M.Sc Environmental Sciences / Environment Science and Management

  • M.Sc Marine Biology / Zoology

  • M.Sc. Biotechnology/ M.Sc. Marine Biotechnology/M. Tech Bioinformatics

Desirable:

  • Candidate having good knowledge in the water and sediment quality analysis, chromatography techniques and basic computer applications.Participation in field trips, cruises, sample collection, analysis and data handling.

  • Candidate having knowledge in marine zooplankton and fish taxonomy will be preferred. Participation in fieldwork onboard boats, plankton sampling, analyses and data preparation.

  • Working experience in any R and D Institutes/organisations.The selected candidates will be required to carry out work on microbiological and metagenomic sample collection in estuarine/coastal area, analysis, processing of data and preparation of reports related to projects.
