National Institute of Technology Agartala invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Assistant Professor

Essential Qualification: PhD

Essential Work Experience: 

• One year post PhD experience of Teaching and Research in Institution of repute or Industry.

• Three years after PhD or six years total teaching and research experience in reputed academic Institute or Research and Development Labs or relevant industry.

• Six years after PhD of which at least three years at the level of Assistant Professor with Academic Grade Pay of 8000; or

• Nine years total working experience, of which three years should be after PhD, with at least three years at the level of Assistant Professor with Academic Grade Pay of 8000.

• Ten years after PhD or thirteen years total working experience, out of which seven years should be after PhD. At least three years at the level of Associate professor with Academic Grade Pay of 9500 or four years at the level of Associate Professor with Academic Grade Pay of 9000 or combination of 9000 and 9500 or equivalent in an Institution of repute or Research and Development lab or relevant industry.

• Six years as Professor with Academic Grade Pay of 10000 or 10500 or a combination of 10000 and 10500 in an Institute of National Importance.
