Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited invites applications for the following posts via Deputation/ Absorption:

Post Name: Chief Engineer(Design)

Essential Qualification: Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Degree in Civil Engineering from Govt. recognized University /Institute.

Pay Scale of CDA: Executives should be either working or empanelled in SAG Pay scale 1,44,200-2,18,200 (Revised/level-14)/ 37400-67000+Grade Pay 10,000(Pre-revised) or higher in any Government Organisation or PSU including services put in on deputation, in the above pay scale with a total of 18 years service at Gazetted/Executive Level in any Government Organisation or PSU OR Executives presently working in Selection Grade Pay scale 1,23,100- 2,15,900(Revised/level-13)/ (37400- 67000+Grade Pay 8,700/-) (Prerevised) for at least 05 years in the pay scale of Level 13 in any Government Organisation or PSU including services put in on deputation, in the above pay scale with a total of 18 years service at Gazetted/Executive Level in any Government Organisation or PSU.

Pay Scale of IDA: Executives working or empanelled in IDA pay scale of 1,20,000-2,80,000 (Revised)/51,300 – 73,000/- (Pre-revised) in any Government Organisation or PSU including services put in on deputation, in the above pay scale with a total of 18 years service at Gazetted / Executive Level OR Executives presently working in IDA pay scale of 90,000-2,40,000 (Revised)/36600 - 62000/-.(Pre-revised) for at least 05 years in the pay scale of 90,000-2,40,000 (Revised)/36,600 – 62,000/-.(Pre-revised) or higher in any Government Organisation or PSU including services put in on deputation, in the above pay scale or higher with a total of 18 years service at Gazetted/Executive Level in any Government Organisation or PSU.

Candidates working in Private Sector: Executives working in reputed Private Sector with post qualification experience of minimum 18 years service/experience at an Executive level after obtaining required minimum educational qualification specified for the post. The candidate from Private Sector should be drawing a compensation more than 25,00,000/- per annum. Sub-note: An applicant currently not in Government or Public Sector but having earlier similar experience in Government or Public Sector, shall also be eligible. Also, the Executives presently working in CDA/IDA pay scales in Government/PSU/Metro Projects who have earlier worked in Private sector, their services in executive level in Private sector will be considered for computing 18 years service in Executive level.

Essential Work Experience: Candidate should have varied experience of structural design of buildings, viaducts, flyovers with superstructures comprising of steel structures, I-girders, Box girders, U girders including design of pre stressed and RCC spans for Rail/Road Bridges. Hands on knowledge in various computer applications, relating to the job is desirable.

Desirable: Work experience of service for major infrastructure works eg Metro/Railways. Preference will be given to the candidates having qualification of M.Tech (Structure) and having experience on design software like STRAAD, E-TABS, MIDAS, RM bridge and STRAP.
