Exam Name: Central Teacher Eligibility Test
Essential Educational Qualification:
(i) For becoming the teacher for Classes I-V
Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of Diploma in Elementary Education.
(ii) For becoming the teacher for Classes VI-VIII
Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education
