Development Commissioner for Handlooms invites applications for the following posts via deputation/absorption:

Post Name: Assistant Director Grade-I (Technical)

Essential Qualification:

Officers under the Central/State Governments/Union Territory Governments /Universities/Recognised Research Institutions/Public Sector Undertakings/Semi- Government or statutory or autonomous organisations:

(A)holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/Department; or

  1. with two years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in pay level-8 in the pay matrix 47450-151100 or equivalent in the parent cadre/Department; or

  2. with three years service in the Grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in pay level-7 in the pay matrix 44900-142400 or equivalent in the parent cadre/department; or

  3. with eight years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in pay level-6 in the pay matrix Rs 35400-112400 equivalent in the parent cadre/Department; and or

(B) possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:-

  1. Degree in Textile Technology/Textiles Chemistry from a recognised University /Institute

  2. Diploma in Handloom Technology/ Textiles Technology from a recognised University/Institute;

Essential Work Experience:

  1. three years experience in enforcement of any Central Act including Handlooms (Reservation of Articles for Production) Act, 1985 or Textile Control Order or in the technical aspects of handlooms; or

  2. five years experience in enforcement of any Central Act including Handlooms (Reservation of Articles for Production) Act, 1985 or Textile Control Order or in the technical aspects of handlooms.
