National Sugar Institute invites applications for the following posts via Deputation/ Promotion

Assistant Professor (Physical Chemistry)

Essential Qualification:

Officers under the Central Government/ State Governments/ Union Territory Administrations/ Public Sector Undertakings/ Universities/ Recognized Research Institutions/ Semi-Government/ Autonomous bodies or Statutory Organizations:-

(a)(i) holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/ department; or

(ii) with five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Level-10 of the Pay Matrix or equivalent, in the parent cadre/ department; and

(b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:-

(a) (i) Post-Graduate degree in Chemistry with specialisation in Physical Chemistry from a recognized University/ Institute.

(ii) three years research/ practical/ teaching experience at degree level in Chemistry with specialization in Physical Chemistry;

OR

(b) (i) Ph.D. in Chemistry from a recognised University/ Institute.

(ii) one years research/ practical/ teaching experience at degree level in Chemistry with specialization in Physical Chemistry.

Desirable:-

(i) Experience in any Sugar factory or distillery or Industrial units.

(ii) Experience of guiding research work in Physical Chemistry.
