Indian Institute of Foreign Trade invites applications for the following posts via Deputation:

Post Name: Professor (Marketing)

Essential Qualification: Regular faculty member at the level of Associate Professor in the discipline of Marketing or higher with at least

• 04 (Four) years of service in Pay Level 13A2 (37,400- 67,000 with AGP OF 9,500/-) or higher

• An eminent scholar having a PhD degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with, a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 140.

• A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and/or research experience at equivalent level at the University/National Level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidate.

• Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology – mediated teaching learning process. OR

• An outstanding professional and an eminent scholar among the top 5 percent scientists in the global list, having a PhD degree in the relevant/allied/applied disciplines, from any academic institutions (not included in A above)/industry, who has made significant contribution to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, supported by documentary evidence provided he/she has ten years experience.

Desirable: 

• The candidates should have guided as chair/supervisor for at least 3 PhD students and

• Must have conducted at least 3 research /Consultancy projects for Large sponsored organization.

• Published work in High category Journals, Should have atleast 2 research paper in Category A/A* or 3 papers in Category B or 5 papers in Category C Journal of ABDC list (ABDC/ABS ranked journals)

• Should have cases published in Harvard/ Ivey Publications.

Post Name: Associate Professor (Supply Chain Management/Operations research)

Essential Qualification: 

• 04 (Four) years of service in Pay Level 13A (37,400- 67,000 with AGP OF 9,000/-) or higher.

• A good academic record, with a PhD Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.

• A Masters Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed).

• A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and / or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry with a minimum of seven publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 120.

Desirable: 

• The candidates should have demonstrated leadership in Research in specific area of specialization by guiding PhD/FPM students and

• Must have conducted at least 1 research /Consultancy projects for Large sponsored organization.

• Should have at least 1 research paper in Category A or 2 papers in Category B or 4 papers in Category C Journal of ABDC list

Post Name: Assistant Professor (Trade, Logistics and Operations)

Essential Qualification:

• 04 (Four) years of service in Pay Level 11 (15600-39100 with AGP OF 7,000/-) or higher

• A Masters degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/ relevant/ allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

• Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a PhD Degree in accordance with UGC Regulations

• PhD degree in relevant discipline
