Department of Economic Affairs invites applications for the following posts via Deputation:

Post Name: Director/Deputy Secretary

Essential Qualification: Officer under the Central Government, State Government or Union Territory Administration or Public Sector Undertakings or Government Universities or Recognized Research Institutions or Semi Government or Autonomous Bodies or Statutory Organizations:-

(i) Director:- holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department or Five Years’ service on regular basis in posts in Level-12 in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department

(ii) Deputy Secretary:- holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department or Five Years service on regular basis/in posts in Level-17 in the pay matrix Or equivalent in the parent cadre or department. And

• Graduation from a recognized University: and

• Five years’ experience in handling any of the following fields: International Economies Policy/ International Taxation/ Financial Policy! Audit) Accounts/ Budgeting! Protocol and Security matters/ Conducting conferences - Physical and Virtual/ Planning and management of international events

• Possessing good speaking and drafting skills in English.

Desirable:

• Experience in handling international matters

• Possessing good analytical skills and have experience in policy making

• Proficiency in Digital Communication.

Post Name: Under Secretary/Deputy Director

• holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department or Five Years’ service on regular basis in posts in Level-8 in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department

• Graduation from a recognized University, and

• Five years experience in handling any of the following fields: International Economic Policy/ International Taxation! Financial Policy Audit/ Accounts/ Budgeting! Protocol and Security matters/ Conducting conferences - Physical and Virtual! Planning and management of international events,
