ICAR Indian Institute of Millets Research invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Junior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification:

Post-Graduate in Basic Sciences (i.e., Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Plant Science) OR Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (i.e. Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Agricultural Biotechnology) with 60% marks or equivalent OGPA selected through a process described through any one of the following:

(i) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.

(ii) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.

Essential Work Experience: Research experience in handling field experiments, field crop evaluation, SSR and SNP genotyping, transcriptome and qPCR analysis and bioinformatic analysis as evident from project work / thesis work.
