Ministry of Road Transport and Highways invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Post Name:

  1. Member (Project)

  2. Member (Technical)

Essential Qualification:

  • A person shall not be qualified for appointment as a Member (Project) & Member(Technical) unless he/she:-

  • Has degree in Civil Engineering; and

  • Is employed in the Central Government or a State Government or Public Sector Undertaking or an autonomous body established under law for the time being in force; and

  • Is holding an analogous post in Higher Administrative Grade in the pay scale of 67000- 79000 (6th CPC) /level 15 of pay matrix under 7th CPC-; or

  • Has at least three years regular service in the Senior Administrative Grade of pay band-4 with pay scale of 37400-67000/- plus grade pay of 10000/-(6th CPC)/ level 14 of pay matrix under 7th CPC; or

  • Has held at least twenty five years regular service in Group A posts in the pay band-3 with pay scale of 15600-39100/- plus grade pay of 5400/- (6th CPC) /level 10 of pay matrix under 7th CPC and above out of which at least one year regular service should be in the Senior Administrative Grade pay band-4 with pay scale of 37400-67000/- plus grade pay of 10000/-(6th CPC)/ level 14 of pay matrix under 7th CPC; and

  • Having eighteen years experience in the field of Highway Engineering related to implementation of the projects
