Essential Qualification: 

• Two years Integrated Post Graduate MSc Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate; OR Master Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in Botany/Zoology/Life Sciences/Bio Sciences / Genetics / Micro Biology /Bio Technology / Molecular Bio / Plant Physiology provided they have studied Botany and Zoology at Graduation level.

• B Ed from NCTE recognised institution.

Desirable: 

• Higher percentage of marks in higher qualification and experience of working in English Medium Residential Public Schools may be considered for award of prescribed weightage.

• Achievements in NCC/ Sports / Co and extracurricular activities, etc.

• Knowledge of Computer Applications.

Post Name: Trained Graduate Teacher (English)

Essential Qualification: 

• Four years integrated degree course (BA-BEd) with English of Regional College of Education of NCERT or other NCTE recognised institution with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject as well as in the aggregate OR Bachelors Honours Degree with at least 50% marks in concerned subject (English) / combination of subjects and also in aggregate. The candidate should have studied the requisite subject in all three years of degree course. OR Bachelors Degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject (English)/ combination of subjects and also in aggregate. The candidate should have studied the requisite subject in all three years of degree course.

• BEd Degree (BEd degree not applicable for four years integrated degree course, ie BA-BEd) from NCTE recognised institutions / university.

• Pass in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) Paper-2, conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
