Odisha Public Service Commission invites applications for Odisha Judicial Service Examination 2022

Educational Qualification :

(1) A candidate must be a graduate in law of a recognized university or Institution recognized by the Government.

(2) A Superintendent or a Ministerial Officer in the High Court or any Civil or Criminal Court sub ordinate to the High Court or an Assistant Law Officer or Translator of the Law Department of Government, shall also be eligible for appearing at the competitive examination under rule 15 for recruitment to the posts of Civil Judges in Odisha Judicial Service, if he/she is a graduate in Law of a University recognized by the State Government, has approved service in the High Court or in any Civil or Criminal Court sub-ordinate to the High Court or in the Law department of not less than seven years by the last date fixed for submission of online applications for the said competitive examination, has been recommended by the respective appointing authority; and is not more than 39 (thirty nine years) of age on the 1st day of the month of August, 2022. Approved Service for this purpose means qualifying as defined in the New Restructured Defined Contribution Pension Scheme provided in the Odisha Civil Service (Pension) Rules, 2005.

Recruitment Details

Odisha Public Service Commission invites application for various posts. Total 57 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number 19/2022-23. The minimum age limit is 21 and maximum age limit is 35 as on date. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories, Other Backward Classes, Women, Ex-Servicemen, Person With Benchmark Disability and Government Servant/Departmental Candidate will be as per the government rules. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Unreserved, Other Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, PWBD Quota and Women . The examination will be conducted through Offline mode at Regional level. The selection process will include an Interview process. After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at Odisha, India, 751016.
