Recruitment Details

Central Selection Board of Constable Bihar invites application for various posts. Total 8415 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number 05/2020. The minimum age limit is 18 and maximum age limit is 25 as on date. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories, Other Backward Classes, Women and Government Servant/Departmental Candidate will be as per the government rules. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Other Backward Classes, Women, Government Servant/ Departmental Candidate, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Unreserved . The examination will be conducted through Offline mode at Regional level. There will be a Physical Test. Physical Fitness Test Notice

Advertisement No. 02/2020 dated 02.07.2020 was published by the Central Selection Board (Sepoy Recruitment) against 551 vacancies of the post Soldier ​​in Bihar Home Defense Corps Service Cadre in the year 2020 in the state of Bihar. The written exam was held on 24.01.2021 (Sunday). Based on the written test, the eligible candidates were selected for the next stage Physical Efficiency Test and the result was published on 15.04.2021.The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) of the selected candidates will be conducted from 07.02.2022. The admit card for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will be available on Bihar Home Guards tab on the Board website www.csbc.bih.nic.in from 17.01.2022. The candidates who are unable to download their e-admit card due to any reason. List of selected candidates under advertisement number 05 / 2020 dated 02.09. 2022 was published on the website of the council. In this selection, candidates Ajay Newar, son- Pushpa Newar, roll number- 3121040079 were declared unsuccessful due to difference in date of birth found in record verification. Due to his date of birth being found correct after due verification and meeting all other criteria, he has been selected by the council for appointment to the post of constable in Gorkha male category.
