Department of Fisheries invites applications for the following post via Deputation/Promotion:

Post Name: Assistant Commissioner (Fishing Harbour)

Essential Qualification:

(a) (i) Holding analogous post on regular basis; OR

(ii) With five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the scale of pay of PB-3, Rs 15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs 5400 or equivalent AND

(b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:

Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University

Work Experience: Five years, experience in port or Harbour Engineering in Central Government or State Government or Public Sector Undertakings or port Trust or Private Registered construction companies or Bodies

Desirable: Post Graduate degree in Civil Engineering or Harbour Engineering or Ocean Engineering from a recognized University or lnstitute.
