Department of Health and Family Welfare Darjeeling invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Research Assistant (Medical)

Essential Qualification:

  • MBBS/BDS/B.V.Sc and AH recognized by MCI/DCI/VCI respectively. OR

  • BDS/B.V.Sc degree with one year experience.

Desirable:

  • MD in the related subject from a recognized university for candidates with first class relevant degree.

  • Additional Post doctoral research/training experience in relevant subjects in recognized institute.

  • Knowledge of Computer Application or Business Intelligence tools/Data Management.

  • Two years R and D/Teaching experience in relevant subject after obtaining essential qualification.

 

Post Name: Medical Laboratory Technologist

Essential Qualification: High School (10+2) pass in science subjects and Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from West Bengal State Faculty or equivalent.

Desirable:

  • Working experience in any virology lab

  • Working experience in BSL-II/III Lab

  • Working experience in the field of molecular lab

  • Having Internal Auditor Certificate from QCI (NABL).

  • Basic computer knowledge.

  • Local residents will be preferred.
