National Institute of Technology Durgapur invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Junior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification:

1. 2 year M.E/M.Tech/M.S in CSE/IT/ECE/EE with minimum 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks from any recognized Institute/University and B.E./B.Tech. with minimum 7.0 CGPA or 65% marks from any recognized Institute or University. Or

2. 2 year M.E/M.Tech/M.S in CSE/IT/ECE/EE with minimum 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks from any recognized Institute/University and MSc (Mathematics and allied areas) with minimum 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks from any recognized Institute or University. Or

3. MCA/MSc (Computer Science) with a minimum of 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks from any recognized Institute/University and relevant NET qualification (in JRF) /GATE (Qualified/valid Score) in CS only.

Desirable: Knowledge of computer networks, and wireless communications is essential. Strong programming skill with sound knowledge in C or C++ or Java. Good speaking and writing skills in English.
