Post Name: Policy Advocacy Officer
Essential Qualification:
Applicants must have a masters degree in social sciences or law with adequate knowledge on forest, land and wildlife laws, policy, and institutions, and minimum one year of rural field experience.
Ability to analyse and document policy, case laws, write case studies from field insights. Conduct field work in rural areas independently.
Ability to coordinate with government and civil society groups across India, and organise training and capacity building programs independently.
Basic skills in excel, SPSS, GPS and GIS
Must be well-versed in English, Hindi and any one regional language.

Applicants must have a master’s degree in social sciences or law with adequate knowledge on forest rights act, forest laws, policy, and institutions, and minimum one year of rural field experience.
Ability to coordinate with government and civil society groups at the district and local levels in Maharashtra, and organise training and capacity building programs on forest rights and policies for government officers and Gram Sabha members independently.
Conduct field work in rural areas independently.
Good in analysis, documentation on policy, case laws, write case studies from field insights.
Basic skills in excel, SPSS, GPS and GIS
Must be speaking and writing Marathi.
