ICAR Central Tuber Crops Research Institute invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following posts:
Post Name: Field Assistant
Essential Qualification: Matic with + 2 vocational in Agriculture(VHSE).
Essential Work Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in tuber crops preferably sweet potato and should be willing to do all field-related physical work if required.
Desirable: Laying out field trials, sweet potato hybrid seed germination using acid scarification, regular monitoring of the different experimental plots, replanting, and putting. mulching of plots, maintenance of seedlings and pre-breeding lines in the field and net houses by regular fertigation and pesticide application and devoid of weeds, data recording harvesting sample preparation for biochemical analysis of sweet potato tubers and documentation including photography, coordinate with farmers for conducting Onfarm trials.
