Assam Public Service Commission invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Computer Operator

Essential Qualification:

  • Higher Secondary/Class-XII passed from the Govt. recognized Board/Council.

  • Candidates must have good working knowledge of office productivity software tools (independent of any operating system i.e. MS Windows, Linux, Mac etc.) such as i) Word Processor, ii) Spreadsheet, iii) Presentation Graphics, iv) Content of Database, v) Internet and vi) E-Mail.

  • Candidates must possess a minimum 6(six) months completed diploma/certificate in computer proficiency, from a Govt. of Assam recognized institution (no breaks in qualification admissible) and must have computing knowledge in Assamese and English Language.

Recruitment Details

Assam Public Service Commission invites application for various posts. Total 17 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number 07/2024. The minimum age limit is 18 and maximum age limit is 40 as on date. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories, Other Backward Classes and Person With Benchmark Disability will be as per the government rules. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Unreserved, Other Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, PWBD Quota and Women . The examination will be conducted through Offline mode at Regional level. After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at Guwahati, Assam, India, 781009.
