North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following posts:

Post Name: Senior Resident Doctor

Essential Qualification:

  • Postgraduate degree or diploma in respective subject recognized by MCI after obtaining a medical qualification included in the Schedule – I and II of the 3rd Schedule of Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in the part – II of the 3rd schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in section 13 (B) of the Act)

  • Satisfactory completion of the compulsory internship/housemanship in a recognized hospital

  • Candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/Medical Council of India

Desirable: Candidates having experience in the respective discipline/subject will be preferred

Place of Interview: Conference Hall, NEIGRIHMS Guest House, Permanent Campus, Mawdiangdiang, Shillong-793018

Recruitment Details

North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences invites application for various posts. Total 37 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number NEIGR-E.II/10/97/Pt-XXIII. The minimum age limit is 18 and the maximum age limit ranges to 45, depending on the specific post. Please look at the Official Notification for the age limits mentioned for each post. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories, Other Backward Classes and Person With Benchmark Disability will be as per the government rules. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Unreserved, Other Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes, Economically Weaker Sections and Scheduled Tribes .
