Cochin Shipyard Limited invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Deputy Manager (Painting)

Essential Qualification:

(i) Diploma in any branch of Engineering with minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university Or Degree in Science with minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university. AND

(ii) Certificate of competency in surface treatment and painting inspection – NACE level 2 certification or Frosio Paint inspector certification or equivalent.

Essential Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of post qualification managerial experience in the areas of Heavy fabrication Sheet metal Industries painting process, Surface preparation and surface treatment in marine industry, preferably in a Ship Building or ship repair yard.

Desirable:
(a) Proficiency in Computer Applications like MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD.

(b) Exposure to ERP/SAP based management systems.

(c) Good communication skills and working knowledge in English/Hindi/Kannada.
