Essential Qualification:

(i) Masters Degree in relevant subject with minimum 55% marks ( or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).

(ii) M.Ed with at least 55% marks ( or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).

(iii) NET/ SLET/ SET passed qualification and exemption thereof & any other stipulation as may be prescribed by UGC/ any such affiliating body/ State Government.

Recruitment Details

West Bengal Public Service Commission invites application for various posts. Total 164 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. The minimum age limit is 18 and the maximum age limit ranges to 40, depending on the specific post. Please look at the Official Notification for the age limits mentioned for each post. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories, Other Backward Classes and Person With Benchmark Disability will be as per the government rules. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Unreserved, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and PWBD Quota . The examination will be conducted through Offline mode at Regional level. The selection process will include an Interview process. After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at Kolkata, West Bengal, India, 700046.
