Essential Qualification:

1. The Applicant should hold a regular teaching /Research position in the University Department or an Affiliated Post Graduate college in the Aided /Government Sector or a Research Centre approved by the University for Doctoral Research under the Jurisdiction of Kannur University.

2. Any regular Teacher of the University Department / Approved Research Centre with at least five research publications in peer-reviewed or refereed journals, for, Professors/Associate Professors and three research publications in peer-reviewed of refereed journals for regular Assistant Professors within permissible limits of similarity ascertained by using software recognized by Kannur University as per clauses 6.1 and 6.2 of UGC M. Phil/Ph.D regulations 2022, irrespective of the date of publication of research papers/articles in the journals.
