Essential Qualification:

(i) HSLC or Equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council

(ii) Candidates must register his / her name with a local Employment Exchange of Assam

(iii) Candidates must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently.

(iv) In addition for the posts of Constable (Nursing), Nursing Diploma is necessary

Recruitment Details

State Level Police Recruitment Board Assam invites application for various posts. Total 2450 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number SLPRB/REC/CONST. Commando/476/2021/57. The minimum age limit is 18 and maximum age limit is 21 as on date. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories and Other Backward Classes will be as per the government rules. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Other Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Economically Weaker Sections and Sports Quota . There will be a Physical Test. After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at Guwahati, Assam, India, 781009.
