Essential Qualification:

(i) From amongst Officers of the Central Government or State Government holding a post in Pay Matrix Level 15 (182200-224100) (corresponding to pre-revised pay scale of 67000-(annual increment @3%) - 79000] OR

(ii) From amongst officers of the Central Government or State Government holding a post in Pay Matrix Level 14 (144200 - 218200) (corresponding to pre-revised pay scale of Pay Band 37400-67000 + Grade Pay 10000), with ten years experience in Administration or Finance or Industrial management in the same grade.

(iii) From amongst officers of the Central Government or State Government holding a post in Pay Matrix Level 13 A ( 131100-216600) (corresponding to pre-revised pay scale of Pay Band 37400-67000 + Grade Pay 8900], with two years experience in administration or finance or industrial management in the same grade, or

(iv) From amongst officers of the Central Government or State Government holding a post in Pay Matrix Level 13 (123100215900) (corresponding to pre-revised pay scale of Pay Band 37400-67000 + Grade Pay 8700), with three years experience in administration or finance or industrial management in the same grade.

(v) Five years experience as Adviser in Pay Matrix Level 14 (144200-218200) [corresponding to pre-revised pay scale of Pay Band 37400-67000+ Grade Pay 10000], in the Competition Commission of India on regular basis.

Desirable: Masters Degree Economics or Business Administration or Bachelors Degree in Law.
