Exam name: Assistant Planner and Assistant Architect Planner Examination - 2023
Post Name : Assistant Planner
Educational Qualification:
1. Post Graduate degree in Urban and Regional planning/ Urban Planning/Regional planning/ Traffic and Transport planning /Housing from a recognized Institution/University/ M.Tech or equivalent Or
2. Bachelor in Planning/Bachelor of technology in Planning or its equivalent educational qualification from a recognized institution/ university and three years work experience in Urban and Regional planning in Central Government/ State Government/ Union territory/ Recognized University/ Recognized Institution or Public Sector undertaking or Semi Government Institution. Or
3. Associate Membership of at least one of the following Institution.
A- Institute of town Planners (India).
B- American Institute of Town Planners.
C- Royal Institute of town Planners (London).
Desirable : Other things being equal, in the case of direct recruitment, preference will be given to a candidate who has
(1) Should have served in the Provincial Army for a minimum period of two years,
(2) Must have obtained B or C certificate of National Cadet Corps.

1. B.Arch from a recognized Institution/ University, and
2. Post Graduate Degree in Urban and Regional Planning/ Urban Planning/Regional Planning/ Traffic and Transport Planning/ Housing from a recognized Institution/ University/ M.Tech or equivalent
