Essential Qualification:

1. Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in the field of Computer Science or Information Technology or Electronics or Civil or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university or institute.

   or

2. Masters Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Hydrology or Geo- informatics or Computer Applications from a recognized university or institute with Bachelors Degree in Science from a recognized university or institute.

Essential Work Experience: 

Joint Director:

Officers of the Central Government, State Governments or Union Territories, autonomous or statutory organizations or Public Sector Undertakings/Universities or recognized research Institutions:

• holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or with five years regular service in Level -11 in the pay matrix (67700-208700) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and

• Possessing Seven years experience in the field of investigation or planning or design or execution, operation and maintenance of water resources subjects or ground water or in the field of Geo-informatics systems or Data Management or Administration.

  Deputy Director:

  Officers of the Central Government, State Governments or Union Territories, autonomous or statutory organizations or Public Sector Undertakings/Universities or recognized research Institutions:

• holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or with five years regular service in Level -10 in the pay matrix (56100- 177500) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and

• Possessing Five years experience in the field of investigation or planning or design or execution, operation and maintenance of water resources subjects or ground water or in the field of Geo-informatics systems or Data Management or Administration.

  Assistant Director:

  Officers of the Central Government, State Governments or Union Territories, autonomous or statutory organizations or Public Sector Undertakings/Universities or recognized research Institutions:

• holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or with two years regular service in Level-9 (53100-167800) or Level-8 (47600-142400) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and

• Possessing three years experience in the field of investigation or planning or design or execution, operation and maintenance of water resources subjects or ground water or in the field of Geo-informatics systems or Data Management or Administration.
