Institute of Physics Bhubneswar invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment :

Post Name : Postdoctoral

Essential Qualification : PhD degree from a recognized university. Those who have submitted their thesis are also eligible to apply. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to present a seminar and arrange letters of recommendation before final selection is made.

Desirable :

(1) Candidate should have expertise in one of the following fields

(a). Thermoelectric, (b). Optoelectronics, (c) Strongly-correlated systems

(ii) Candidate should have expertise in sample preparation.

(iii) Hands on experience in handling UHV system/XPS system/PPMS instrument/neutron or X-ray diffraction is encouraged.

(iv) Candidates, should have sound understanding on the fundamentals of magnetism, electron transport, electronic structure, structural analysis etc.
