Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration Punjab invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following posts:

Post Name: Office Assistant

Essential Qualification:

(i) Graduation in any stream (2nd Div. or above) with Punjabi language exam pass at matriculate level and

(ii) Possesses at least one hundred and twenty hours course with hands on experience in the use of Personal Computer or Information Technology in Office Productivity applications or Desktop Publishing applications from a Government recognized institution or a reputed institution, which is ISO 9001 certified. OR

(iii) Possesses a Computer Information Technology course equivalent to O Level certificate of Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Course (DOEACC) of Government of India;

Essential Work Experience: a retired employee of Punjab Government or its boards/ corporations etc. having at least 5 years of work experience on the post of Clerk or above, having Graduation degree in any stream (2nd Div. or above) with Punjabi language exam pass at matriculation level

Desirable:

(i) Proficiency in M.S. Office (Excel, Power Point and Word)

(ii). Strong communication skills (written and oral) to effectively correspond with a diverse audience.

(iii). Typing speed in English (40 wpm) and Punjabi (30wpm in Raavi Font) on computer.

(iv). E-office

(v). Work experience in relevant field is preferable
