Indian Institute of Technology Bhilai invites online applications from eligible candidates for admission in postgraduate programme. The important details of the admission process are listed below -

Course name: Master of Technology

Educational Qualification:

  • Applicants meeting the eligibility criteria as defined hereunder are invited to apply for admission to MTech program in Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering, IIT Bhilai as a regular student. Students admitted to the regular MTech program of the Institute shall be eligible to receive Institute Fellowship as per the norms defined by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.

  • Bachelors degree in relevant disciplines of Engineering/Technology with first class, 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST) or equivalent.

  • Valid GATE Score (GATE Score in any engineering discipline/CY/PH/GG/XE) with minimum score of 350 for UR, 300 for OBC-NCL/EWS and 180 for SC/ST/PwD
