Indian Institute of Technology Indore invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment/deputation:

Post Name: Superintending Engineer

Essential Qualification: First class degree or equivalent grade in Engineering in relevant field from a recognized University/ Institute.

Essential Work Experience: Officers of Central PWD/State PWD or similar services/ semi-Govt./PSU/ Statutory or Autonomous organization/University/ Institution of National importance/ reputed organization under Central/State Government-

  1. Holding analogous post

  2. With at least 8 years regular service as Executive Engineer in the PB-3 with GP of 6600/- (Level 11 of 7th CPC) or equivalent

  3. With at least 5 years regular service as Senior Executive Engineer in the PB-3 with GP of 7600/- (Level 12 of 7th CPC) or equivalent

Desirable:

  • Candidate should have work experience of handling major projects in educational institutes, coordinating with the Architects/ Consultant and with government agencies like CPWD in educational institutes.

  • Proven track record of handling construction projects/ consultancy in organizations of repute.

  • Knowledge of Computer-aided Design (CAD) and latest Management Technology /other relevant software.

  • Experience of working with high tension lines, electrical maintenance planning and execution of electrical works or civil engineering, Designing and Estimation, construction management etc., as relevant to his/her specialization.

  • Design and Execution of projects including Civil, Electrical, HVAC and other aspects of engineering including acquisition of land.
