National Horticulture Board invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Essential Qualification:

• Assist the Board in rating these nurseries for the purpose of granting them Recognition Certificates, based on the land and infrastructure available in these nurseries including the technically qualified staff and good nurseries practices for propagation of quality planting materials.

• Establish a network of quality nurseries across the country for the purpose of propagation and distribution of quality planting material of specified horticulture crops, the Consultant shall undertake the inspection of nurseries those managed by ICAR Institution, NRC State Horticulture Department and other in various States/UTs in the country.

• Visit the State/UTs for the purpose of pre-assessment and final surveillance of nurseries along with other members of the Assessment Committee.

• Conduct regional workshops for the purpose of creating awareness about the guidelines of recognition of horticultural nurseries.
