University of Hyderabad invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following posts:

Post Name: Post Graduate Teacher

Essential Qualification: With at least 50% marks in aggregate in any of the following;

  • BE or B Tech (Computer Science /IT) from a recognized University or equivalent Degree or Diploma from Institution/ University. OR

  • BE or B Tech (any stream) with two (2) years Post Graduate Diploma in Computers from recognized University. OR

  • MSc (Computer Science)/MCA or Equivalent from a recognized University.

Post Name: Trained Graduate Teacher

Essential Qualification:

1.Four Years Integrated Degree course or Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate; OR

  • Bachelors Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/ combination of subjects and in aggregate and BEd

  • The electives subjects and Languages in the combination of subjects as under:

  • For TGT (Telugu and Sanskrit): Telugu and Sanskrit as a subject in all the three years.

  • For TGT (Hindi): Hindi as a subject in all the three years.

  • For TGT (English): English as a subject in all the three years.

  • For TGT (Telugu): Telugu as a subject in all the three years.

  • For TGT (Social Studies) Any two of the following: History, Geography, Economics and Pol. Science of which one must be either History or Geography.

  • For TGT (Science)- Botany, Zoology and Chemistry.

2.Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose/ any State TET.

3.Proficiency in teaching in English medium.

For Art Education:

1. Five Years recognized Diploma in drawing and Painting /Sculpture/ Graphic Art OR

2. BFA/ MFA in drawing and Painting/ Sculpture / Graphic Art from recognized University degree. Proficiency in teaching in English medium.

For Physical Education: Bachelors Degree in Physical Education at least 50% marks from a recognized Institution / University.

Post Name: Primary Teacher

Essential Qualification:

  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with 50% marks and 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with 50% marks & 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education OR

  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and Two (2) years Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR

  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed

  • Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose/any State TET.

  • Competence to teach through English medium.
