Telecom Regulatory Authority of India invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Consultant (Non-Tech) Grade-II

Essential Qualification: Masters/Bachelors Degree in Business Administration /Economics /Commerce/Law from a recognized University/institution or, Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India/Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.

Essential Work Experience: An officer retired from Central government Ministries/ Departments / PSUs/ Autonomous Bodies, should have at least 2 years of experience of working in Economics/ Finance issues and should have worked on a post equivalent to post of Under Secretary or equivalent and above in Central government Ministries/ Departments/ PSUs/ Autonomous bodies in pay level 11-13 in the pay matrix under 7th CPC or equivalent pay scale.

Desirable: Chartered Accountant/ Chartered Financial Analyst.

 

Post Name: Senior Consultant OR Consultant (Tech) Grade-II

Essential Qualification: Graduate/ Post graduate degree ro equivalent in Economics/ Finance / Commerce/ Masters in Business Administration in Finance from a recognized University.

Essential Work Experience:

For Senior Consultant: 20 years and above

For Consultant (Tech) Grade-II: 8-20 years

Desirable:

1. Chartered Accountant/ Cost Accountant/ ICWA/ Cost and Management Accounts/ Chartered Financial Analyst.

2. Experience of working in telecom.

3. Preference will be given to persons having scientific understanding of the subject and work experience in any of the following relevant fields:

4. Pricing of telecom services.

5. Cost modelling.

6. Cost benefit analysis.

7. Spectrum valuation.

8. Forecasting and analysing economic impacts of policy.

9. Spectrum auctioning principles and techniques cost accounting principles.

 Post Name: Young Professional (Tech)

Essential Qualification: Bachelor of Technology/Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology/Telecom/Communications/Electrical.

Essential Work Experience: Minimum post qualification experience - 2-3 years in the field of Electronics/telecom/ broadcasting / IT.

Desirable:

1. M.Tech/MS with Telecommunications as a subject Any other Masters Degree with specialization in Public Policy Regulation.

2. Policy Research/ Regulation in Government/ Semi- Government sector.
